I have been on the hunt for BYSPG myself. Actually a “pack” of friends and I have been looking for this AWESOME gum ever since it was pulled. I used to purchase it by the case! LOVED that gum and everyone I gave some too did as well. Like the others who have commented, it was the PERFECT gum for adults. Fantastic bubbles in the perfect flavor for adults. It NEVER went bad. It lasted as long as your jaw would. I LOVED IT. I too have contacted the Target rep as well as Hershey themselves SEVERAL times. After seeing these comments on it, I will go back to the phone calls and e-mails. Let’s get this changed!!! Bring it back!!!

I’m with you. I’ve been pining for BYSPG since it was discontinued. It was the only gum I would chew. I don’t know what they’re thinking @ hershey, I’ve contacted them several times about bringing this product back and that they’re missing the boat for both sales and shareholder profits.

I whole heartedly agree that this was an excellent gum & that Hersey dropped it due to poor marketing on their part. I have over a hundred packs in a temperature & humidity controlled container, so I am set for now. Fanatical? Maybe. But, I am not sure what I will do when I run out. There is some decent peppermint gum out there, just not bubble gum.

Has anyone seen or heard of Peanut Butter Bubble gum? I used to buy it in an old store in Hartley, Delaware and can’t seem to find it any place. Yeah I know ewee right but it was oh so good. I can’t remember the brand but it was a small square about 2×2.

Substitute for You!!! Try ORBIT Bubblemint flavor. It is available in the small packs or in those white cups that have maybe 60 or 70 pieces in it. It isn’t exactly the same as the peppermint sugarless bubble yum, but it’s certainly better than nothing.

I agree with Jay that Hershey’s doesn’t listen. They don’t seem to care what customers want. A few years ago they discontinued my favorite candy bar (Power House) and when I contacted Hershey’s to ask them to bring it back, they gave me a lame excuse like they gave to others who requested that the sugar free peppermint bubble gum be brought back. As a result, I do NOT buy Hershey’s products anymore. (Lindt chocolate is much better anyway!)

I wonder if contacting a company who makes bubble gum would be interested in making their own version of sugar free peppermint bubble gum…?

Painful. Apparently Hershey’s doesn’t know or care enough to market the brand properly.
But the real burning question is: What is a comparable substitute. It is extremely difficult to find sugar free peppermint BUBBLE gum (not chewing gum – sigh). Since Hershey’s doesn’t listen, I’ve got find something that approximates what the bubble yum brand had

Too funny!…I got into Mint Bubble Yum years ago because their grape flavored gum makes your breath smell like ass…and in a corporate environment, that’s a no-go.

I used to by it by the box wherever I could find it. The last place I saw any of it was on eBay. Now, alas, it’s no longer there.

We need to mount a campaign!…petition!
